How the solver narrows things down

- How do I enter my guesses?
- Type any letters you know are in the word into "Valid letters," letters in their confirmed position into the matching "Placed letters" box, and letters you've ruled out into "Bad letters." Update these as you make more guesses - you don't need to re-enter anything.
- Does this know today's Wordle answer?
- No - it doesn't look up or spoil the daily answer. It only narrows down possible 5-letter words based on what you tell it.
- What if a letter appears twice in the answer?
- Enter it once in "Valid letters" (or in its known position boxes) - this tool doesn't track exact repeat counts, so double-check results by eye when a letter repeats.
